The Library is moving back to Main Street. The Rowlett Road location will close Saturday, 5/5. The new Main Street location will open Wednesday, 6/6. Continue checking back for updates and information about opening day!
Beginning Tuesday, January 2 at 9:00am, panel replacement will begin on Rowlett Road north of SH 66 (Lakeview Parkway). Various lane closures will occur. This construction will be ongoing for the next few months, barring any temporary delays caused by inclement weather. Rowlett Library patrons: please use Old Rowlett Road to access the facility. Visit us and browse through over 60,000 books. Entertain the family with one of our 12,000 movies. Music, audiobooks, ebooks, magazines and large print books are also available for you to borrow.
Public Computers and Wi-Fi Access
Our Public Computers and free Wi-Fi access provide a gateway to the Internet. Check your email or search for a job. The computers also offer free access to Word, Excel and Power Point.
Classes and Programs
Enjoy our library's programs. For children, there are story times for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Be sure to watch for Family Saturday adventures. The library presents GED tutoring and English as a Second Language classes for adults.
